A stone cottage in Oxford with white timber flush casement windows. Simple two-light casements with plain glass suit the small openings and thick walls of a cottage, and the white finish stands out cleanly against the warm stone.

Casements for a cottage
Flush casements are the traditional cottage window: the sash closes level with the frame, the way casements were made before storm-proof profiles. Our guide to flush casement windows explains the difference, and the single timber flush casement starts from £449+VAT.
