Project: Complete Window Supply for New Build Property
This Surrey family home needed a comprehensive window package that balanced contemporary living with traditional aesthetics. The clients wanted timber throughout—no uPVC—but with low-maintenance finishes that wouldn’t need constant attention.
We supplied a mix of flush casement windows and a feature canted bay window in engineered pine, all factory-finished in brilliant white. The bay creates a bright focal point on the ground floor, flooding the living room with natural light from three angles. Upper floor windows combine casement styles with vertical glazing bars that add period character without looking fussy.
What made this specification work was consistency across different window types. Whether it’s the bay, standard casements, or smaller bathroom windows, we used the same timber profiles and glazing bar dimensions throughout. That unified approach gives the whole house a cohesive, quality feel.
Thermal performance was critical for Building Regulations compliance. We specified low-E glass with argon filling across all units, delivering U-values well below the 1.6 W/m²K threshold. The homeowners wanted energy efficiency without compromising on natural light—these windows deliver both.
The white painted finish stays clean against the buff brickwork and complements the slate roof perfectly. Sometimes the smartest choice isn’t the most complicated one—quality timber windows in classic white just work.
